Pitch Wars, the hashtag phenomenon created by Brenda Drake to help connect writers, mentors, and agents, has launched its new website. This is the second major industry website designed and developed by Atmosphere Websites (AKA myself and Sierra Godfrey), along with the Manuscript Wishlist site (and its spinoff Manuscript Academy). Incidentally, we got connected to Brenda and our team initially through the MSWL site -- first we revamped Brenda's personal author site, then we moved onto the bigger project of tackling Pitch Wars and its massive list of mentors, turning it into sortable profiles with cool graphics and a clean layout.
It's very exciting and gratifying to help authors on their journey. There's a bunch of coding and development information in my brain, so I might as well use it to help usher more books into the world!
